Meanwhile Senate Standing Committee on Defence has recommended summoning compensation for destruction of main roads through NATO containers, while committee appreciated government actions and the directions of Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani, regarding counter attacks. Giving a briefing to the Senate Standing Committee on Defence which met here under the Chairmanship of Lt Gen (retd) Javed Ashraf Qazi, on Thursday the DG MO said after the attack on Salala check post it was wrongly informed that Volcano check post had come under attack.
